If you’ve been trying to order AMSOIL oil filters over the past few months and kept hitting dead ends, you’re not alone — and now we finally have some good news. We first covered the shortage back in June — here’s that post if you want the backstory on what caused it.
Here’s the short version: one of AMSOIL’s filter manufacturing partners unexpectedly shut down production. This wasn’t a small supplier — they served a large chunk of the entire filter market, so the ripple effect hit a lot of brands, not just AMSOIL — Toyota and Nissan were rationing motor oil around the same time. AMSOIL got to work sourcing new manufacturing partners, spent the interim qualifying vendors, validating performance, and getting a new factory tooled up. That process is done. Filters are on their way back.
This is actually a case where the disruption is going to result in a better outcome long-term — AMSOIL controls more of its supply chain now than it did before.
AMSOIL Oil Filter Availability — What’s Back and When
AMSOIL released a projected availability list as of July 22, 2026 for their EA Oil Filters. Keep in mind these are projected dates — actual availability will vary. It also takes five to nine days to fully stock all distribution centers, so you may see it available in one region before another.
A handful of filters have a temporary supply coming in first, then a gap before they return permanently — those are noted below.

What To Do If You Need a Filter Now
If your filter is showing “Available Now,” you can order through me directly or set up a Preferred Customer account to get wholesale pricing — just text SPEC to (651) 300-2010 and I’ll get you sorted.
If your filter isn’t back yet and your change interval is coming up, reach out. Depending on your application, there may be a cross-reference or interim option — like the WIX cross-reference for EABP90 and EABP100 — and I’d rather help you figure that out than have you miss a change or use something that doesn’t fit right.
