Preferred Customer

What is an AMSOIL Preferred Customer?

A Preferred Customer signs up for an annual AMSOIL membership for $20/year and gets 25% off every order for the life of their membership. No minimums, no quotas, no catch. You order directly from AMSOIL and it ships to your door.

How do I sign up as a Preferred Customer?

You can sign up directly through Mill City Synthetics. It takes about five minutes and your discount is active immediately.

Is the $20 membership fee worth it?

If you buy more than one oil change worth of product per year, yes, absolutely. Most customers save the membership fee back on their first order alone.

Can I cancel my Preferred Customer membership?

Yes. AMSOIL memberships renew annually and can be cancelled at any time.

What’s the difference between a Preferred Customer and an AMSOIL Dealer?

A Preferred Customer buys AMSOIL at wholesale pricing for personal use. A Dealer does the same but also earns commissions by referring customers and building a team. If you’re just looking to save money on oil, PC is the right fit. If you want to build a business, dealership is worth exploring.

What’s it like to work with you?

You get a real person — Josh or Becky — not a call center. We respond within the hour, we know our products because we run them ourselves, and we’ll tell you exactly what your vehicle needs without upselling. Text is the fastest way to reach us at (651) 300-2010.

Products & Specifications

What AMSOIL oil does my vehicle take?

The fastest way to find out is to text SPEC to (651) 300-2010 and we’ll look it up for you. You can also use the AMSOIL vehicle lookup tool. If you have an aftermarket build or modified engine, contact us directly — fitment for modified vehicles requires a conversation.

Will AMSOIL void my vehicle warranty?

No. Under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, a manufacturer cannot void your warranty simply because you use a different brand of oil, as long as the product meets the specifications listed in your owner’s manual. AMSOIL products meet or exceed OEM specifications and are Warranty Secure.

What is AMSOIL Signature Series and why do you recommend it?

Signature Series is AMSOIL’s top-tier full synthetic motor oil, rated for up to 25,000 miles or one year between oil changes under normal service conditions. It provides 75% more engine wear protection than required by industry standards. It’s what we run in our own vehicles.

How long can I go between oil changes with AMSOIL?

Signature Series is rated up to 25,000 miles or one year under normal service conditions. For severe service — towing, off-road, short trips, extreme temperatures — intervals are shorter. We always recommend following AMSOIL’s published drain intervals and using oil analysis to verify for your specific application.

What’s the difference between AMSOIL and Mobil 1?

Both are full synthetic oils, but AMSOIL is formulated to higher performance standards and longer drain intervals. AMSOIL is engineered to performance specifications, not down to a price point. Independent testing consistently shows AMSOIL outperforming Mobil 1 in wear protection, oxidation resistance, and cold temperature performance.

Does AMSOIL make oil for diesel engines?

Yes — AMSOIL has a full line of diesel oils including Signature Series Max-Duty Synthetic Diesel Oil, rated up to 3x OEM drain intervals for heavy duty applications. Contact us for commercial diesel pricing and volume options.

Jeep & Off-Road

What AMSOIL products do you recommend for a Jeep Wrangler?

For the engine we run AMSOIL Signature Series 0W-20 in our 2021 JL Rubicon with the 3.6L Pentastar. For the Dana 44 axles front and rear we recommend AMSOIL Severe Gear 75W-90. For the transfer case and transmission, use the AMSOIL vehicle lookup tool or text us your year and model for a full spec. If you’re lifted or running larger tires, we factor that in.

Does AMSOIL work for modified Jeeps with aftermarket upgrades?

Yes — and this is where having a dealer who actually wheels makes a difference. If you’re running a lift, oversized tires, lockers, or aftermarket axles, the OEM spec may not be the only consideration. Text us your build and we’ll walk through the right products for your setup.

What gear oil do you recommend for Dana 44 axles?

AMSOIL Severe Gear 75W-90 is our go-to for Dana 44 applications. It’s engineered for high-load, high-shock gear applications — exactly what a Jeep axle sees on the trail.

Powersports

What AMSOIL oil do you recommend for a KTM 450 EXC-F?

We run AMSOIL 10W-50 Synthetic Dirt Bike Oil in our KTM 450 EXC-F Six Days. It’s purpose-built for high-revving four-stroke dirt bike engines and handles the heat and mechanical shear these engines produce. Text us your specific model year for a confirmed spec.

What oil does a CFMoto Ibex 450 take?

The CFMoto Ibex 450 takes 10W-40. We run AMSOIL 10W-40 Synthetic Dirt Bike Oil in our 2026 Ibex. Text us for current pricing and availability.

Does AMSOIL make oil for Harley-Davidson motorcycles?

Yes — AMSOIL has a full V-Twin line including engine oil, primary fluid, and transmission fluid specifically formulated for Harley-Davidson applications. These products meet or exceed Harley’s specifications and will not void your warranty.

What about snowmobiles and UTVs?

AMSOIL has purpose-built products for both. For snowmobiles we recommend AMSOIL Interceptor 2-Stroke Oil or Formula 4-Stroke depending on your sled. For UTVs the AMSOIL ATV/UTV line is the go-to. Text us your make, model, and year for a specific recommendation.

Shipping & Ordering

How do I order AMSOIL products?

Yes — AMSOIL ships to Canada. Canadian customers can sign up as Preferred Customers through our referral link and order directly. Shipping times and costs vary by province.
